Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today the wee ones participated in a STEM activity to celebrate the holiday. This was, by far, the easiest STEM to set up. All you need is a pot of gold (pennies) and a river (sliver of blue construction paper). The task was to create a bridge over the river using your gold in order to flee the leprechaun. This one stumped them! They had to do a lot of redesigning and rebuilding but most of the pairs figured it out. In fact, they challenged themselves to create different styles of bridges that would work. They said this one was their favorite challenge so far.
